Put a wearable device on your wrist on any given Saturday and you’ll see how doing a few errands and chores—like shopping for groceries, tidying up your home, and hitting the library to browse the stacks—quickly adds up to thousands of steps. The number is often surprising because you simply weren’t thinking about how many steps you took when you were busy focusing on the tasks at hand.

Now, imagine you could wear a device that automatically logs how much time you spend tailoring recipes to each client. Would you want to wear it every day or would the data be disheartening?

You’re passionate about accommodating the specific nutritional needs of your weight loss, ketogenic, and diabetic clients. But getting just the right mix of recipes requires lots of steps (sadly, with no cardiovascular benefit). While you’re focused on filtering, searching, and making nutritional calculations, like net carbs, your time investment silently piles up.

That Clean Life is here to help you take back your time.

Improve client outcomes in less time

Three recent feature enhancements in That Clean Life let you effortlessly find recipes and templates that meet your clients’ hyper-specific nutrition needs without making multiple calculations or fussing with filtering.

Put your calculator away with the Net Carbs feature

You didn’t get into this line of work to do math every day. But when you’re meal planning for clients who follow low-net carb diets, calculations are inevitable. Or, rather, they were inevitable before the Net Carbs feature was added to That Clean Life.

The Net Carbs feature makes it a snap to find just the right mix of ketogenic or diabetes-friendly recipes. Instead of manually calculating net carbs, you can instantly filter recipes that meet your criteria.

  • Find right-fit recipes for every client that needs to keep net carbs low.
  • See the net carbs value automatically displayed in the nutrition breakdown of every recipe in That Clean Life.
  • Further refine recipe search results by using a built-in slider to specify the exact number of net carbs to target.

Let the Net Carbs feature crunch the numbers for you. Delight every client while spending less time searching for recipes and more time on business-boosting activities.

Tap into template search, supercharged

Why settle for basic search functionality when supercharged is an option? The Advanced Template Search feature lets you search That Clean’s Life’s robust library of evidence-based meal planning templates using the keywords that make the most sense to you.

Advanced Template Search frees you from sifting through pre-set tags or scrolling and clicking endlessly to unearth the right templates for your clients with unique dietary needs.

  • Use the Keywords filter to enter as many organic keywords as you like. For example, if you’re working with a client who needs kidney support you can add “kidney” as a keyword.
  • Add in pre-defined tags to make your search more specific. For example, if your kidney support client also happens to be dairy-free there’s a tag for that. (Note: the more filters you apply, the more narrow your search results will be.)
  • This feature also makes it easier to surface new templates in the library you didn’t know existed, adding more variety and flexibility to your meal planning.
  • Every That Clean Life template comes with a done-for-you meal plan, grocery list, recipes, a prep guide, and supporting evidence covering key considerations or nutrients prioritized in the template build.

Fine-tune your recipe search with Filtering Suggestions

When a client has highly specific or complex nutritional needs, finding the right recipes becomes an exercise in precision. Sure, you could type in all the ingredients you want to exclude in all the many forms, one by painstaking one. But it’s way simpler—and speedier—to use That Clean Life’s Filtering Suggestions feature.

It’s a new addition to the Filter Recipes box you already know and love. When the Suggestions toggle switch is turned on, you’re ready to start typing ingredients to exclude.

Here’s a quick overview of how Filtering Suggestions works:

  • When you enter two items to be excluded that are similar to one another the Filtering Suggestions automatically kicks in and prompts you to replace the individual ingredients with a relevant tag you might not know exists. For example, if you enter “tomato paste” and “fresh tomatoes" you’ll automatically be offered up the “tomatofree” tag.
  • As you continue adding more ingredients to exclude, you’ll be prompted with even more replacement tags. Any time you click on a tag, it will get added to the Tags box and the relevant individual ingredients will disappear from Exclude Ingredients.
  • You have the power to turn off Filtering Suggestions for any search by sliding the toggle to the left.
