Sunday: The day I make time to prepare for a healthy week ahead. This includes doing some meal planning, grocery shopping and a bit of meal prep. Over the years, it’s become a Sunday habit - and actually one that I’ve come to look forward to.
I remember being caught on this merry-go-round of good intentions, bad decisions and regret. I’d start the week off with the best of intentions to eat healthy, but quickly fall off the wagon then spend the rest of the week thinking:
Well, I’ve blown it now so I’ll try again on Monday.
No. This isn't how it works. Get back on the wagon right now!
I started to make meal planning a habit, which allowed me to hop off this merry-go-round once and for all. This is my secret for success: Make meal planning a habit. Eating clean is not a diet. It is a way of life. That is why it is so important to set aside some time every week to get organized. This will help you see actual results in the way you look and feel.
It is Sunday. Do you know where your meal plan is?
We’ve made That Clean Life so this process can be simple and fun.
As usual, this afternoon I used That Clean Life to map out my plan for the week. I usually am on my own for breakfast and lunch, so like to make these things up on Sunday and then mark the remaining days as leftovers. I have a busier week ahead so I’ve chosen meals that don’t take much time to prepare.
After I’m finished my meal plan, I will email myself the grocery list and send Chris a copy of the plan so he can get started on dinner the nights I’m late.
If you haven’t made your meal plan for the week yet, check this out and get that booty in gear! If you make a point to do this week after week, I promise it will become a habit and you won’t think twice about eating healthy… it will just be something you naturally want to do. That Clean Life is the way eating healthy should be: simple and fun. Become a member here.
