Many people look at the new year as a fresh start. It is a time when they reflect on the past 365 days and determine how they can be better moving forward. During this reflection, many people realize they need to do better in taking care of their health.

As a health professional, this is your time to be prepared with the right services and offerings to attract and support your ideal clients.

Today we are rounding up 10 nutrition business-boosting ideas for the new year. Everything you need to start your nutrition business new year with a bang is waiting for you within That Clean Life.

If you are already a member of That Clean Life, you are all set to implement these ideas! If you are not yet a member of That Clean Life, you can join here.

Now, let's brainstorm some great business ideas for the new year!

1. Run a 21-Day Real Food Real Quick Challenge

Are you looking to offer a program in the new year that focuses on general healthy eating? Check out our 21-Day Real Food Real Quick Program. This program includes three weeks' worth of meal plans with recipes, grocery lists, and prep guides all done for you.

You can run our 21-Day Real Food Real Quick Program as a paid challenge. It will prove to your clients that eating healthy doesn't mean spending their whole life in the kitchen. This program will show clients that by batch cooking proteins, using a slow cooker, and prepping breakfasts ahead, they can eat healthy, delicious food in less time than it takes to order takeout.

All meals on this program are budget-friendly. We've incorporated lots of fiber to keep your clients feeling full and their digestion on point. Weeknight dinners are quick, and breakfasts are prepped ahead for busy mornings. Leftovers are repurposed for simple and delicious lunches. This program will teach your clients healthy eating habits that will last a lifetime.

Although these weekly meal plans are ready to use as-is, you can definitely modify them to better suit your audience's needs. Once you are happy with the weekly meal plans, you can add them to a Collection, turn Sharing on and share the link with your participants. Now your challenge materials are all set to go!

Tip: When sharing a Collection with a group of clients, be sure to turn edits off. If you'd like the group to be able to edit the plan, each participant would need their own Collection.

Pick a start date for your challenge and determine the price to participate. From here, you can start promoting the challenge, get sign-ups, and then run it over the course of 21-days, keeping your community excited and engaged throughout. At the end of your challenge, be sure to tell your participants about your other services and offerings, and how they can continue working with you to keep up their momentum and feel great all year long.

2. Offer a Two-Week Sugar-Free Challenge

After the holidays, many people realize they need to eat less sugar. This is the perfect time to offer a sugar-free program.

We have two sugar-free programs that are available within That Clean Life. Our Sugar-Free Paleo Diet places an emphasis on whole foods and avoids common food sensitivities including dairy, grains, soy, and legumes. It incorporates a wide variety of colorful fruits and vegetables for natural sweetness and is perfect for those who love to prep their meals ahead. As always, the plan is fully customizable and has room for an extra meal or snack if needed. We also have a gluten-free and soy-free Sugar-Free Diet, designed to help people kick their sugar habit without feeling deprived.

Add these two programs to a Collection, share the link with your participants, and boom! You have an amazing two-week sugar-free program, all set to go.

The next steps are to pick a start date for your program and determine the price to participate. Then start promoting the challenge, get sign-ups, and run it over two weeks, keeping your community excited and engaged throughout. At the end of your challenge, tell your participants about your other services and offerings, and how they can continue working with you.

3. Run an Online Freezer-Meal Workshop

Want to show your clients how to stock their freezers full of healthy meals in just three hours? Run a Freezer-Meal Workshop! This can be done either online or in person.

Our Freezer Meal Program is designed to show clients how to stock their freezers full of healthy meals in just three hours. It comes with a prep guide that outlines how to prepare and the meal plan shows how to use the freezer meals over seven days. Serving sizes can be adjusted as needed to create even more freezer meals if desired.

Meals for this program have been chosen to include low glycemic carbohydrates, high-quality protein, monosaturated fats, and bone-building nutrients, which are all important nutrition concepts you can plan to discuss during your workshop.

You can find our Freezer Meal Program located under the "Programs" tab within That Clean Life. Make a copy of the plan, then turn on sharing to get the link to share with your workshop participants.

Be sure to also export and send your participants the prep guide as it will be an integral piece of your workshop!

Determine the date of your workshop, and set the price to participate. You can create an event page for your workshop using EventBrite or Universe, then start to promote it.

This workshop would be about three hours in length. You would send your participants the meal plan, grocery list, and prep guide in advance, and instruct them to do their grocery shopping ahead of time so that they can make the freezer meals right along with you from the comfort of their home.

4. Offer a Two-Week Immune Support Program

Building a strong immune system will be top of mind for many come the new year, making it a great time to offer an Immune Support Program.

We offer two Immune Support Programs within That Clean Life, an omnivore version and a plant-based version. Pair these two programs together to create a two-week program, or run them individually as a 7-day program.

These Immune Support Programs have been intentionally designed to include a wide variety of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to support the immune system. Key nutrients include vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc, and selenium. You can talk about the importance of these nutrients and the role they play in supporting the immune system throughout your program.

Find our Immune Support Programs under the "Programs" tab within That Clean Life. Make a copy of each program and then add them to a Collection. Turn on Sharing to generate a link to the Collection and you can share that with your participants. Now your program materials are all set to go!

Next steps: choose the dates you will run your program and set your price to participate. Promote the program, get sign-ups, and run it. As always, at the end of the program, plan to make a special offer to your participants that will get them to continue working with you.

An immune support program would also make a great one-on-one offering if you prefer not to run this as a group program.

5. Offer a Healthy Slow Cooker or Pressure Cooker Challenge

We all know people love their slow cookers and pressure cookers (also known as the Instant Pot). Offering a challenge that focuses on one key appliance is such a fun idea that your ideal clients will love.

To run a slow cooker challenge with your community, use our Easy Peasy Slow Cooker Program, which features six days of healthy slow cooker meals.

To run a pressure cooker challenge with your community, use our Set It & Forget It Pressure Cooker Program. This plan will have your clients using their pressure cooker every day to create healthy breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. It also includes super simple snacks that can be prepped while the pressure cooker is doing its thing. The program is both gluten-free and dairy-free. As always, it can be customized for individual needs or preferences. (Just use our pressure cooker filter to search for more pressure cooker recipes.)

Both of these programs make for a fun challenge. Make a copy of the program, turn on Sharing, and share the link to the plan with your participants. Now you are ready to rock!

Set the price to participate in your program and select your start date. Promote the program, get sign-ups, and have fun! In the end, give your participants an irresistible offer to continue working with you.

6. Offer a Six or 12-Week Weight Loss Program

Do you love working closely with clients one-on-one to achieve their weight loss goals? The new year is the perfect time to promote a long-term one-on-one weight loss program.

How you structure this program is totally up to you, but we do recommend starting with an initial consultation and doing a Meal Planning Assessment, which will help you collect the right information so you can build great nutrition plans. Download our free Meal Planning Assessment Tool here.

Once you have done your Meal Planning Assessment, you can incorporate weekly meal plans into your one-on-one program. Use That Clean Life to build awesome weekly meal plans that are customized to your client's unique needs so they can achieve real results.

Attracting clients to this program is all about marketing. Be sure to put a marketing plan together for your one-on-one weight loss program. Communicate the value. Use all channels available to you to promote your program including social media, email, etc.

7. Offer an "Eating Healthy on a Budget Cooking Class"

Eating healthier will be top of mind for many come the new year, but so will saving money. This is a great time to offer a cooking class that teaches participants how they can eat healthy, delicious food on a budget.

A great starting point for content for this cooking class is our Healthy & Affordable Program, which proves that eating healthy doesn't need to be expensive. It has been carefully created to include a minimal number of ingredients to keep food costs down and uses leftovers so no food goes to waste. This program incorporates healthy fats, fiber, antioxidants, and ingredients to support the immune system.

Make a copy of the Healthy & Affordable Program, then add it to a Collection. Turn on Sharing to share the link to the Collection with your cooking class participants. This will guide the participants through your cooking class, and give them a plan to follow afterward.

Determine the date of your cooking class, and set the price to participate. You can create an event page for your cooking class using EventBrite or Universe, then start to promote it.

Send your participants the meal plan, grocery list, and prep guide in advance. Tell them what recipes you will be making during the cooking class, and what ingredients they will need to have ready to go. As always, at the end of your class, tell your participants what they can do to continue working with you.

8. Create a Meal Planning Club

Want to create a recurring revenue stream for your nutrition business? Consider creating a meal planning club and launching it in the new year. You can use That Clean Life to create weekly meal plans for your members.

9. Offer a 4-Week Master Meal Prep Sunday Series

Love teaching clients about the power of meal prep? Consider offering a four-week series where you meet with participants as a group every Sunday to do healthy meal prep.

To get you started, check out our Meal Prep Sunday Program. This program will show your clients how to prepare enough meals for 5 days in roughly two hours. It comes with a prep guide that outlines step-by-step how to meal prep.

This program would make a great starting point for Week 1. Make a copy of the Meal Prep Sunday Program and add it to a Collection. Then, turn on Sharing to get the link for your participants. You can build out similar programs using That Clean Life to complete Weeks 2, 3, and 4 of your series.

Set the price for your workshop series, then start promoting it. Add a new plan to the Collection every week, and let your participants know when the live stream will be happening, and what to do to prepare. At the end of your four-week series, tell your participants about your other nutrition services so they know how to continue working with you.

10. Offer a Social Healthy Cooking Club

With so many people feeling isolated, the new year would be a great time to offer a social healthy cooking club. Participants can register to do a series of cooking classes with you and connect with others in your community. Think of it as a book club, but for healthy cooking.

We recommend making your cooking club specific to your niche. For example, if you work with women going through menopause, make your cooking club specific to that, and cover recipes and topics that are of importance to this group of women. Every week, you come together to prepare a recipe and discuss its nutritional benefit.

Use That Clean Life to find recipes that match the theme of your cooking club and add them to a Collection. Share the link with your participants and add new recipes to the Collection every week.

Whatever ideas you have floating around in your head for the new year, whether it is a high-end one-on-one program, a group program, a free challenge, etc., we are here to turn your ideas into a reality without having to stress over the right recipes, formatting or nutrition analysis. The key here is to take action on your ideas. Implement them. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. We want this to be the year your nutrition business goes to the next level.

If you are already a member of That Clean Life, you are ready to start implementing these ideas right away. Log in and get to work! If you are not yet a member of That Clean Life, you can learn more and sign up here.
